"BEYOND OUR CONTROL" PREMIERES "BLIMP PORT"

A classic silent movie--possiby the inspiration for the recent hit "Airport"-- will be premiered on the next edition of Beyond Our Control, the weekly satirical revue. The sixth edition of the program, produced by the Junior Achievement Television Company, will be presented Saturday (March 9) at 5:OO PM EST on Channel 16.

The bogus classic describes the ill-fated flight of the giant b1imp "Spirit of Atlantis." Steve Wyant, Dave Simkins and Brenda Hathcoat are the crew of the ship, which is threatened by a maniac (Dave Koloszar) with a giant pin.

Beyond Our Control's local soap opera, "Love of Lust" will, return for another episode. The passionate tale features Brenda Hathcoat as Gwendolyn, Tim Hanlon as Vincent and Jon Yazell as Teddy.

Finally, viewers get a rapid-fire introduction to the wonders of cable television in a fast-paced channel-switching sequence. Among the delights offered are foreign films, silent movies, sportecasts, talk shows and plenty of commercials.

Keith Kepler is Beyond Our Control's Production Manager this season. The award-winning series is directed by Tim Hanlon, Randy Rhinehart and Diane Werts.
