"BEYOND OUR CONTROL" KIDS CANINE HEROES

Beyond Our Control, television's weekly satirical revue produced and directed by Michiana area high school students, will kid the heroic dogs of the movies when it presents its twelfth edition of the 1974 season, Saturday (April 27) at 5:00 PM EST on Channel 16.

"The Adventures of Flicka" tells the story of a typical day in the life of Flicka (played by Cli Cli Janowiak), an heroic Chihuaha. Also appearing in the parody are Maryalice Janowiak as Mom, Dave Bashover as Gramps and Tim Hanlon as Jeff.

In another skit, BOC cameras travel to "Lumpy's Lounge and Lanes" for a presentation of "The Last Time I Saw Paris." Keith Kepler plays Lumpy, Kathi Kimbriel is his wife, Angel; and Brenda Hathcoat is his daughter, Katrina.

In other skits, viewers will be taken behind-the-scenes with a major Japanese film company to view the filming of "Gonsuelo vs. Earth," and a major animation film, photographed by Keith Kepler, will be premiered.

This is the final original show for the 1974 season. Next week, Beyond Our Control will reprise the Best of '74 in a one-hour special, Saturday (May 4) at 6:00 PM EST on Channel 16.
