Beyond Our Control, the weekly TV show about TV, will turn its attention to television situation comedies this week when it presents "The Donna Rea Show," The tenth edition of the high school student-produced comedy show will be presented Saturday (April 6) at 5:00 PM EST on Channel 16.

In this episode, the Rea family faces another crisis as Bud (Dave Simkins) disobeys his father (Steve Wyant) and starts his own rock and roll band Donna (Brenda Hathcoat) is barely able to maintain peace in the family as Betty (Maryalice Janowiak) and Cathy (Lyndelle Egyed) ridicule Bud's project. Also appearing In the skit are Jon Yazell, Tim Darden and Phil Patnaude as members of the band.

In another skit, Randy Rhinehart and Chuck Mueller portray WIMP-TV sportscasters telecasting live coverage of the Sectional Basketball Tournament on Channel One. Finally, "The Hellstromboli Chronicles" presents a close-up view of the deadly Norwegian devil ants as explained by naturalist Njorth Hellstromboli (John Claeys) in a Beyond Our Control animated film.

Diane Werts, Tim Hanlon and Randy Rhinehart are directing this, the seventh season for Beyond Our Control on Channel l6.
