"BEYOND OUR CONTROL" SEEKS NEW MEMBERS

Beyond Our Control, the award-winning television project for area high school students, will conduct recruiting sessions and auditions for new members Saturday, September 13th.

Indiana and Michigan students, grades 9 through 12, are invited to attend the auditions at the Junior Achievement Center, 3002 S. Michigan in South Bend. There will be two sessions; one at 9:00 AM EST and one at 1:00 PM EST.

Beyond Our Control is looking for new members with skills and aptitudes in the fields of still and motion picture photography, humorous writing, performing and announcing, broadcasting operations and commercial art. The Saturday sessions will provide interested students the opportunity to preview the company's goals and techniques, meet with advisers to the project from WNDU-TV, and to submit a formal application for membership. Applicants are asked to bring a small, nonreturnable photo of themselves for the application.
